Debre Genet Medhanialem Tigray Orthodox Tewahedo Church is a spiritual home for the Orthodox Christian community in Jacksonville, Florida. Rooted in ancient faith and sacred tradition, our church exists to glorify God through worship, prayer, and service to others.
Our church preserves the holy teachings of the Orthodox Tewahedo faith while nurturing spiritual growth for children, youth, adults, and families. Through divine liturgy, fasting, prayer, and fellowship, we strengthen our relationship with God and with one another.
We are proudly rooted in Tigrayan heritage while welcoming all people who seek Christ and a life of faith. Our mission is to share the light of Christ, serve our community with love, and pass the true faith to future generations.
